Hello Everyone,

One of the things that always amazes me is cotton.  Since I was a little girl and when I had first found out where cotton came from, I was alway astonished that it grew in fields on a plant!  I mean really, this fantastic fiber that we utilize in so many ways, clothing, home dec, not to mention... quilts!

So while on my Thanksgiving Holiday in Arizona, we took walks everyday and we pass fields and fields of cotton.

Hello Everyone,While I was in Arizona, I spent the last night enjoying a wonderful dinner with my cousins and my Aunt and Uncle.  While there, I noticed a quilt hung over the back of my cousin's rocking chair and asked my cousin who made here the wonderful table runner...To my surprise, she said... "Well my beautiful cousin did..."  meaning me!  Well that floored me... I didn't remember making it...LOL!!Here is my gorgeous cousin with the table runner I made.  And to prove it, I actually had put a label on it, can you believe it??Yep!  I made it 10 years...

Hello Everyone,Yesterday marked the last day of my workshop in Arizona.  First, I must say what a wonderful group of ladies I had in the class!  I loved each and everyone of their stars and their geese.  Yesterday, we I had them working on their border geese and they are fantastic!!I love this... it is going to be a two color quilt.  I just can't wait to see it finished.And Ooooo how I love the brights on the black, they just pop.This version was so different from the others and I love this one too.These geese are the four corners...

Hello Everyone,Yesterday was a fun day!! I taught My 2 Baby Sisters in Arizona at 35th Ave Sew and Vac.  I had a wonderful group of ladies as my students.  As you will see in the photo below, everyone had different fabrics that turned out very different looking LeMoyne stars.Aren't they all wonderful?  These are all paper pieced with the pattern that you can find by clicking here.This is Belinda's swatch card... isn't it beautiful?  I just love all the Kaffe Fassett fabrics she is using.Here is a beautiful line up of all little baby stars just waiting to be...

Hello Everyone,Yes, you read that right! However, I never really made it on the ATV. Here is the story...My son really wanted to go on an ATV tour of AZ. He has an ATV at home (I have never been on it). Hello Everyone,Yes, that is right, my son convinced me to go horseback riding in the desert. I have to say that, it was a good day. We started here at the ranch in Saguaro Lake. Just a beautiful area.The horses were big! But I guess I knew that.
