Hello Everyone,
Schoolhouse is always a super exciting part of Quilt Market. It is when we go from room to room and learn about new products, quilt designs... and so much more from the creators! It is also when we run into people that we may not have seen for over a year or so! Kind of like a homecoming! It is lots of fun. This year prior to my schoolhouse, I was able to attend a few and had a great time doing so. The first one that I attended was my friend Sharyn Cole's Schoolhouse from The Tuffet Source.
She launched the Marvelous Mini Tuffet that is so, so cute! It is about 8" big and super, super fun! She even made one out of my fabric collection... How cool is that? And it get's better... We are going to stock them in our shop!! They come complete as a kit, the only thing that you need to add is fabric. Hmmm.... we all have a little bit of that don't we?
Then I went to Sue Michael's of Dragonfly Fiberarts where she presented her newest collection of pattern cards. Boy was it difficult to get pics of her and the quilts.... she moved so fast!!! But the concept and designs are wonderful and unique.
Following that I headed off to my friend Cindi McCracken's schoolhouse. She was launching her own fabric line with Hoffman and patterns around it!! What wonderful quilt designs she had!!!
Then it was SHOWTIME for me!!! I was able to show all 6 quilts... plus a 7th that is a FREE pattern if Quilt Shops carry my entire line of fabric!!! And I have an Aurifil Thread Collection too! Woohoo!!!! AND my friend Sharyn Cole also made me a LARGE tuffet too! LOVE my Island Batik Fabric in the tuffet. My fabric line is called Fresh Catch and I love the oranges, greens, and rusts. Paired with a creamy batik they steal my heart! Let me introduce you to each one....

All the patterns, with the exception of the free one is available in our online shop, as a hard printed pattern or PDF download! The Aurifil thread collection should be available here within the next week in the shop here. In January/February the fabric will be arriving in and you will be able to get yardages and kits AND the free pattern.
I am super excited about these beautiful fabrics and patterns. I hope you are as excited as me! I can't wait to see your quilts!!
