Hi Everyone,

Quilt Market kept me very busy this year and I have so much to share.  Besides the people of Quilt market I worked just a little.... Today's post I am going to show you what I did at Quilt Market with my book.  I promise, this will be the only post about it... promise.  My other post, I will show you the sights!

The first thing that I did was to launch my book to the shops at Quilt Market's Schoolhouse.  I was able to show off some of the quilts from the book and talk about how to pair the black and whites with brights as well as teaching options, trunk shows and so much more!  Also, you can see where I will be on my book tour by clicking here.

Then it was off to the Martingale booth on Saturday and Sunday to do demos from my book!  I was honored to be among many other wonderful authors from Martingale launching their books too!

Hehehe... so while I was doing my demos, the hubs was busy playing Words with Friends.  He was fantastic during market!  Since this was his first time there it was a lot to take in and her really liked it!!! Do you think he will come back with me next year?

Then there were sightings of my book Splash of Color throughout Market.  Two major quilting publications had done reviews of my book (SQUEEEEEEEAAAAL)!!!  And it showed up on shelves at distributors too!  I must say that I am extremely honored and humbled!

The last day of market was my book signing and I was FLOORED!!! I was making my way to the Brewer booth and my friend Lisa caught up with me and said "You have a line!".  I asked how many... "a couple?".  Then we turned the corner and my jaw dropped.... I said "They are for me???" I just couldn't believe it!!  I was so excited and thrilled that so many people were as excited about my book as I was.

It went so well and there was not one book left at the end!! Yahoo!!!!!!

So that was my "book" experience at market.  It totally blew me away.  Thank you to Martingale and to all of those who have been cheering me on... I am truly humbled and honored to have you all part of my life.

If you still don't have a copy of the book and would like one, you can get a personalized signed copy from my by clicking here, OR you can purchase on Amazon by clicking here.

Until Next Time....
