Hello Everyone,

I know I haven't blogged much lately, I have been knee deep in Quilt Market prep work.  I just finished piecing a quilt.  Then put it on the long arm, made the binding and now have to bind it.  I finished teaching a 7 session class, and am now making a dress that I will wear at Quilt Market when I launch my book there!  It is coming up next week!  Very excited...

As I was finishing up the quilt top for market, my inspectors were help in full force.  Here Inspector number one is keeping a very close eye on how I am attaching the border.

Inspector number two is trying to determine if the backing is up to snuff.

All that work and they just need to rest.  As their employer they get more than a 15 minute break... way more!!!

Then I put the quilt on the long arm and made the binding.  Now I just need to get the binding on!!!

Making a dress...

Once that was done, I turned my attention to making a black and white dress to wear to my schoolhouse at Quilt Market!! Here is a little tidbit you probably didn't know about me, before I was a quilter... some 22 years ago... I was a garment maker.  I made all kinds of clothes.  Mainly for my kids, but sometimes I was compelled to make a matching dress for myself to whatever I made for my daughter!  Now she is mortified!

Regardless, I enjoy making clothes, I just don't seem to have the time these days.  Speaking of time, I have also been busy publishing my patterns for you!! Yup that is right. Some of the patterns that I have designed are now in print!

The first one is Island Breeze, which I adore!!

The second one is Rainbow's End... a really quick quilt to make and will look good in any fabric combo!

The REALLY GOOD NEWS is that you have the option to purchase the pattern in two ways:

1.  A hard copy, paper pattern.  Beautiful full color graphics in a booklet style pattern!

2.  As an instant downloadable PDF!  Full color graphics here too, but you get it instantaneously - no shipping!!!

You can find these two patterns by clicking here AND there are MORE on the way so stay tuned!

Anyway, being so busy leads to less frequent blog posts.... please accept my apologies... I will try to do better.... I promise!

Until Next Time...
