Hello Everyone,
So do you ever get so excited about beginning a new project that it just is in your brain until you do it??? I couldn't wait!! The other day we stocked a NEW Charm Elements packet from Quiltworx and I just loved the possibilities. This is UNLIKE any other Quiltworx/Judy Niemeyer pattern, no spikes, curves, etc. this is very modern and so many options!
Let me show you where I began.
I love the color pink, that is no secret. Therefore, that had to be in this quilt. Then pairing it up with some sun shiny yellows and a black and white print were the ticket! Off we go...
Cut my fabrics and the paper piecing begins! I love when they are all lined up like little soldiers! Pretty!
And who doesn't just love the trimmings? I always am amazed at how smitten I get when I see a pile of trimmings that are brightly colored. I really love them.
Here are two hexies all made up. The best part is that these whip up in the blink of an eye! I love the fact that they are quick and pretty. Stay tuned to watch this baby grow.
