Hello Everyone,

Now that I have many of the curves sewn, I am now joining some of the units with more curves... LOL! But once these curves are done, they become traditional square blocks!! Yay!!  Then I can piece the entire quilt together in a traditional way.  Let's take a look at what I accomplished yesterday.

First the day began with organizing the units and grouping them to the other units that they would become one with.... This is crucial that they are matched to the appropriate partners.  You can see I used binder clips and notes to keep them together.  This is very effective so that when you come back to it the next day, all will be okay!

Here is one of the groups all joined together.  Now a traditional block!

Here is another group, joined together.  This will become one of the outer edges of the bed runner, thus remaining curved.  The squared off edge is the interior of the quilt.

Look, I plum tuckered out my boy with all the sewing going on.  He is great company, but kind of gets in the way at times.... but I love the boy!
