Hello Everyone,
Yesterday, I picked up where I left off on the Paradise in Blooms. Many of you have been sending me e-mails asking about the pattern and/or kits. The patterns are on the way and we will have kits immediately in a different color way from Island Batik. Then the color way I am doing will follow shortly there after. They will all be available on the Canton Village Quilt Works website.
Here in this photos is the unit that I am working on currently. This is the outer edge of the ring... the spikes. They are nice and pink and I introduced a multi color batik to tie in all the colors of the quilt that are currently there.
Look who showed up to help me today! My sewing partner was in and out all day long. Not really helping, but I think he thinks he is....
Here are the units, almost done. I really like the way the look. Wait until you see them on the design wall.
Oops... he switched positions and all my units ended up acting as a blanket as they came out of the back of my machine. He didn't seem to mind it though.
All done with the units! I think they turned out pretty nicely, don't you think?
Here they are around the ring. Tomorrow, I will work on the other unit that will complete the spikes. Then onto the baskets! We are getting there....
