Hello Everyone,
On Sunday, I spent the day with friends piecing the NEW raffle quilt for our Flights and Fantasies Quilt Show at the New England Air Museum in September, 2015! Let me just tell you this quilt is going to be gorgeous! I am so excited to show you some of the process and can't wait until we finish it!

I was piecing this unit, which is a feather unit. I had the left half and Kristen had the right half. After we finished those we moved on.
Lisa was busy working on the leaves and boy do they look gorgeous!
Here, Kristen is putting units up on the design wall. We just had to see how this was coming along!
Here is what we accomplished in one day. Not bad for a team of three. We made some great headway, but still have a TON to do yet. I will keep you apprised of the progress. But I will tell you there is nothing like sewing with friends for a day. I look forward to the next session.
