Hello Everyone,

Well, my friend Pam and I had a fantastic time at Quilt Market in Houston. We came back with a bit of a surprise... we'll reveal at a later date. But first, I am sure that you will all want to see pictures. Well, I have them and I have to break them down into several posts so make sure you check back often.

Our first picture is of Pam and my feet. They were weary after Schoolhouse. Can you tell we like the same socks. They are Sol-Mate Socks, mismatched on purpose and you can get them from the sock lady, just click here.

The next photo is of Laura and Michelle, the owners of Quilting by The Yard. They are friends of ours and they are patiently waiting with us to get into the ever popular Sample Spree. Note all the people. We were lined up here at 5:30 for an 8:00 opening!!

Here are the people 1st in line....

Here is a peek inside at the Moda table. I affectionately dubbed this the Moda Menagerie. Look how fast everyone is moving!!

Here we are the next morning waiting for the Market floor to open. The lobby was packed and people were coming down the escalators in droves.

Here is my friend Pam and I patiently waiting....

One of our first stops was at the Melly and Me booth. Here is Rosalie and Melanie. So nice!! Their booth was fantastic. Lots of flossies and beautiful quilts.

Here you can see Holly Holderman at her Lakehouse booth. What a pleasure it was to speak with her. She has a fantastic fabric company and wonderful designers doing wonderful things for her. Her booth was, as always beautiful.

If you have been following her blog, here is the pretty dresses quilt. Really sweet in person!!

This last picture for this post is of me and Glenna Hailey of Holly Hock Quilts. What a sweet heart! She was doing a demo of fusing rick rack. Fantastic and a terrific idea! Thanks Glenna!

Check back soon for lots more photos! I promise you will not be disappointed. These were just the tip of the iceberg!

Until next time, Happy Quilting!
