Hello Everyone,

Yesterday, I finished teaching the second session of Summer Solstice at In Stitches! in Goodyear, AZ.  These ladies in the class made great progress for a two day class!  Kudos to all of them.

I bet you would like to see some of the results, right?  Wait no longer...

I kept coming up with names for the quilts.  These two I referred to as the "Sunflower" Version and the "Winter" Solstice.  The colors in both reminded me of those.

This one, of course, I love!  It is made with Kaffe Fassett.  And guess what, it is being made by another Jackie!  How coincidental is that?  Two Jackie's who love Kaffe Fassett!!

Here are the winter and the sunflower version sewn up into a quadrant each. These quilts are going to be stunning.

This one I was referring to as "Citrus Cooler".  Here she was auditioning the inner border in a pale green.  We all decided it was too pale and had to be more saturated in color.  So of course we started substituting the fabrics out!

Here is the happy class of quilt makers!

Until Next Time...
