Hello Everyone,
A few weeks back, I was asked to keep May 15th free as my friends wanted to have a "little" get together before I move to Arizona. I want to say that I have some of the BEST friends in the world. What I thought was going to be just friends getting together, turned out to be a most awesome party AND get together!
Everyone had brought something home made to eat, sandwiches, side dishes, desserts, drinks and there were even flowers too! AND they even decorated with PINK... my favorite color.
My friends were mostly all there... some couldn't make it, but they were there in spirit. Besides the food and fun, I couldn't believe that they were all in on making me a most beautiful quilt! Everyone made a block and signed it. The pattern is Hazel the Hedgehog from Elizabeth Hartman. Each of my friends put their own special touches and fabrics into the block that they made. I love each and everyone of the blocks.
I can't wait to hang the quilt in my new home too! I think it will be hanging in my new studio. The quilt will be a wonderful addition and fabulous memory too!

I will truly miss everyone, but they will be coming to visit me!!
