Hello Everyone,
Many of you already know of the Splendid Sampler. If you don't, please go here for all the information and the FREE blocks that are currently out that you can make all year long.
I am one of the designers of one of the blocks that will be featured this year. But I also want to follow along and make the other blocks by my fellow designers too! After many hectic days of purging the house and meeting other deadlines, I finally had time to start and follow along with Block #1. This block was designed by my friend Pat Sloan.
As you can see, I will be doing my blocks in black and white with a "Splash of Color" and I can't wait to have a beautiful quilt in the end. So if you you haven't joined in yet, please play along. Two new blocks are posted every week. You don't have to make them all if you don't want to do so. Make only the ones you like! But I think I will be making all. Along the way, learning all kinds of techniques and creating a beautiful sampler quilt.
